Goa is a small state in the western part of India. It touches the Arabian Sea on the west, and hilly regions of rather steep Western Ghatson its eastern side. It is about 400 kilometres away from both Mumbai and Bangalore. It is well connected to other cities of India via air, rail and road. The conference will be held from June 24th to 27th, 2012. Goa is traditionally known for its golden beaches and architectural beauty. It also offers gastronomical delights in the form of seafood, and vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from various parts of the world.
Goa University will be the main host of the conference. The conference organizing committee co-chairs are: Rajanala Nirmala and Abhishek Goel, both can be contacted at ISSWOV2012@unigoa.ac.in . The venue of the conference will be the International Centre Goa.
